Breeding Fish at Home

I have had years of experience trying to get different types of fish to breed. I have discovered that Catfish seem to be the easiest for me. I have included some tips to help with breeding.

Tip #1 - Cucumber is awesome.

Catfish love cucumber. This is a good way of getting them to eat health and a sneaky way to see them.

Tip #2 - Plenty of Hiding Spots.

Make sure there is plenty of dark hiding spots. Also make some of the hiding spots tight. Catfish seem to like getting stuck in small spaces. Especially a male fanning eggs.

Tip #3 - Weight Food

Make sure you weight down the food for the Male Catfish if on eggs. Make sure you put it near to the clutch of eggs. Otherwise they can die from starvation.
